As the self-proclaimed “wild child” of the Huntrix crew, Mira’s brash demeanor concealed her deepest wounds… a pain she revealed in her darkest hour as she repeated the lies of Gwi-Ma that she “doesn’t get to have a family”. Mira might be fierce in both battle and song, but she is still tender at heart… and the sense of purpose and belonging that she received from being part of Huntrix unlocked a whole new meaning to her life. In the wrong places, Mira’s unique talents went unrecognized and she felt misunderstood and alone… it was only when she was brought into a family that truly loved and appreciated her that she was finally able to blossom and shine.
Many times the souls searching for their purpose in this world start out in the wrong direction… I know because I’m one of them. But all the skills that were once used to serve the wrong mission can be used powerfully in the body of Christ if we open up our arms and provide a safe haven for every prodigal to find the family that they have been searching for. For every repentant prodigal son and wayward wild child who has ever felt unworthy to serve, Jesus didn’t offer us mercy just so we can have a seat at His table… He gave us the grace to stand tall as the warriors that we were always meant to be, serving side by side in one unified family.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Corinthians 15:10
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. 1 Timothy 1:12-16
