Battlefield 6‘s open beta didn’t top all of the charts last week, but it did take No. 1 on Steam before landing at No. 4 on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
Circana senior director Mat Piscatella has shared charts tracking player engagement during the week ending on August 16, and Battlefield 6 was dominant on Steam in North America, Canada, and Mexico. On the Xbox and PlayStation charts, Battlefield 6 edged out Grand Theft Auto 5, but it fell to the identical lineup of Roblox, Call of Duty HQ, and Fortnite.
A lot of the titles on the lower half of PlayStation and Microsoft’s lists were the same games in different orders. Marvel Rivals held steady at No. 7 on PlayStation, and remained at No. 9 on Xbox. Conversely, Minecraft dropped to No. 6 on Xbox, and stayed in the eighth slot on PlayStation.
The cooperative climbing game Peak had a strong showing on the Steam charts as it hit No. 3 in North America and Canada. It was also one of the few recent titles to display longevity on Steam this month, as most of the games listed came out before the year began.
You can find the complete line up of the most popular games for the week of August 16 in the US for PlayStation, Xbox and Steam, according to Circana’s tracker, below
