While the 1.4 update for Persona 5: The Phantom X just launched last week and added more to Phoebe’s Synergy Story alongside her playable debut, Atlus is already teasing the characters and launch of the 2.0 patch. They’ll be the main character Riko “Wind” Tanemura, who joins the Phantom Thieves alongside Wonder, and the new Phantom Idol Ayaka “Chord” Sakai.

We do already know a bit about Wind and Chord, due to Persona 5: The Phantom X being available in other regions ahead of the global debut, but Atlus shared initial character profiles for both of the new units. Atsumi Tanezaki voices Riko. She’s also at Kokatsu Academy with Wonder and Closer. She uses a Parasol and her Persona Chiyome to attack enemies. She’ll also fill the Navigator role. We’ll see her in chapter 3 of the campaign. She’ll be a four-star.

In the case of Ayaka, Chord is played by Yui Makino. As a Phantom Idol, you’ll need to pull her on the gacha to get her. She uses a guitar as a weapon, and her Persona is Calliope. Chord will have her own Synergy Story, just like characters such as Phoebe. She will act as a Strategist when she appears and deal Electric damage. She’s a five-star.

Here are the photos of the two profile images Atlus shared for the new new Persona 5: The Phantom X characters debuting in 2.0.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is available on the PC and mobile devices, and Ayaka “Chord” Sakai and Riko “Wind” Tanemura will be the focus of the upcoming 2.0 update.
