Texas darkwave rock band Temple of Love will deliver their debut album this November.
Announced today, Songs of Love and Despair will be released on November 7 via The Reptile House. The nine-track album was recorded with Grammy-winning producer and recording engineer Stuart Sullivan (Roky Erickson, Supersuckers) at Wire Recording Studio (Meat Puppets, The Sword). The first single from the release titled “If Sighs Could Kill” can be heard here. Vocalist Suzy Bravo said this about the song:
“‘If Sighs Could Kill” is a song about the memories of desire and obsession. The song’s lyrics are told by a person that is remembering a time when they were young and thought that if they couldn’t have the person they wanted, they’d die, but grew old enough to find out that time heals and the heart is stronger than we think.”
