While last week brought some quality games for PS5 and PS4 gamers to spend their virtual wallet on, it’s being turned up a notch as there are over 20 games releasing on the PlayStation Network Store this coming week.
The majority of games releasing this coming week are indies and smaller games in nature, but that doesn’t mean they’re not quality titles.
There are also some highly-anticipated experiences releasing as well, with the full list available below, along with our release highlights.
There Are 26 New Games Releasing For PS5, PS4 During The Week Of Sept. 15 to 21
Release Highlights For The Week:
- LEGO Voyagers (PS5, PS4 – Sept. 15) – You might be scoffing at seeing a LEGO game be part of the highlights list, but LEGO games tend to do very well—especially for the younger gamers out there. For those unfamiliar with the game, LEGO Voyagers is a two-player co-op adventure where gamers will be able to feel what it’s like to be a LEGO brick. It will house a Friend’s Pass just like in Split Fiction, so you can play co-op with a friend even if only one of you owns the game.
- Dying Light: The Beast (PS5 – Sept. 18) – A standalone Dying Light experience that will see the return of Kyle Crane. This is probably the biggest release of the week, and based on our preview, it’s one you’ll want to keep on your radar.
- Frostpunk 2 (PS5 – Sept. 18) – A port of the sequel to 11 bit Studios’ city-building survival game. This one is set 30 years after the original, as you take on the role of a leader in an alternate history of the early 20th century. Given that the first game was released seven years ago, there should be a lot of fans eager to jump back and build worlds once more.
- Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree (PS5 – Sept. 18) – A new roguelite by Brownies Inc. that features single-player and co-op (online and local) experiences. Expect fast-paced action, gorgeous hand-drawn characters and environments, with a soundtrack by legendary Final Fantasy composer Hitoshi Sakimoto.
