While Palworld developer Pocketpair Inc. is still embroiled in a lawsuit against Nintendo, it appears the developers are unconcerned about Nintendo’s opinion, as their next game has been revealed, and it is likely to irk Nintendo even more.

Titled Palworld: Palfarm, this cozy game will really remind you of Pokopia, Nintendo’s Pokemon farming game that was announced just two weeks ago.

Palworld: Palfarm Will Likely Once Again Trigger Nintendo To Sic Its Lawyers On Pocketpair

According to Pocketpair, Palworld: Palfarm is a farming simulation game and a spin-off of the monster-catching open-world survival game, Palworld.

“Move to an island where the Pals live, work together to till the fields, cook, craft, and build the farm of your dreams,” the press release states.

Players can call on Pals to lend a hand in farm work using their unique abilities. You’ll also be able to deepen your relationships with the island residents through daily conversations and gift-giving.

While this is a cozy game, Pocketpair says there are times that players will need to defend their farm from some nasty Pals that are out to wreak havoc. Palworld: Palfarm is also confirmed ot be a multiplayer game, so you’ll be able to build your farm with your friends.

Given it takes years to make a game, this isn’t some knee-jerk reaction by Pocketpair to capitalize on Nintendo’s upcoming Pokémon farming sim. Of course, Nintendo won’t care about that at all, and I wouldn’t be surprised if another lawsuit is served.

Pocketpair appears to be quite busy, as not only has the studio announced Palworld: Palfarm, but Palworld has been in development for its 1.0 release, scheduled for some time in 2026.

Palworld: Palfarm has no release date, but is confirmed to be releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Mac, and PC via Steam.
