If you’ve unlocked a few of the regions in the next live service iteration of Skate, you’ll have played at least one of every type of challenge the game has to offer. These come in Own The Spot, Session, Line, and Stunt variants. But, by far, the stunt challenges tend to be the most difficult.
This can be because you need to thread the needle to fly through a narrow gap, it could be because the cavemans within the game are a touch unforgiving. Or, in the case of this challenge, it could be because you can’t find the damn thing you need to plummet into.
Hit the Sights is mostly a breeze, but the issue is that the game does a really bad job of signposting where one of the two Dino statues is from your starting vantage point. Here is a guide on how to find it, along with tips on how to achieve the other goals for good measure.
Where Are The Two Dinos?
If you’re just here so that I can end this unsolicited scavenger hunt for you, I won’t keep you longer than I need to.
The first Dino is pretty well signposted, as the arrows to the left of your starting session marker lead to the statue that will be highlighted in glowing yellow down below. However, the second one is tucked away out of sight.
You’ll want to hop off in the direction of the first Dino, and you’ll notice two buildings to the right of that statue. You’ll find the second, more elusive Dino tucked between these buildings. Easily missed, but easy to fall headfirst into when you know exactly where to toss yourself.
How To Complete The Other Goals
The other goals are rather simple. Beginning with the church windows, you’ll want to thread the needle using spread eagle to slow your fall, and you’ll find a window at the front of the church, a large circular window on the left hand side of the church, as well as a smaller window to the left of the circular window. I would consider these the easiest three to hit.
Second, you’ll want to free-fall straight ahead toward the overlapping rings in the park below. Again, use your spread eagle to slow your fall and move as horizontally as you can, and thread the needle to move through the rings. Hitting them won’t do, you’ll have to actually pass through them.
Then, lastly, you’ll want to follow the arrows to the right of your starting position and float over to Hotel Casper, where you’ll see a horse statue. The goal here is to try to land on the statue. So, use spread eagle to slow your fall and line it up, and if you do bounce, try to use spread eagle again straight away to stay in place.
Provided you can meet all the goals listed, you’ll have nailed this challenge and will get some welcome Rip Chips for your efforts.
