The October edition of Walmart Deals is live now with promotions on just about every category of product you can think of that the retailer stocks–and Walmart carries just about everything. Although we wish Walmart would pick a distinct name for this sale, that doesn’t change the fact that there are a lot of great offers in Walmart Deals. From video game hardware and computing tech to heaps of licensed toys, collectibles, and plushies, Walmart has a wide-ranging selection of notable discounts that are worth checking out.
Walmart Deals: Most Popular
Walmart Deals is the biggest sale the retailer has hosted since the July iteration of the same event. The summer sale was a response to Prime Day, while this week’s event is squaring off against Amazon Prime Big Deal Days. And like Amazon’s other competition, including Target Circle Week and Best Buy Techtober, Walmart Deals runs longer than Amazon’s 48-hour Prime Big Deal Days sale (October 7-8). Walmart’s week-long sales event ends October 12. But since Amazon matches competitor prices so often, Big Deal Days will still be going strong days after it technically ends.
Walmart’s sale pages aren’t always the easiest to navigate, and it’s not uncommon for products that aren’t even discounted to be front and center on Walmart’s site. With that in mind, we poked around and put together a list of links that lead to some of the best deals we’ve spotted so far. It’s essentially a Walmart Deals navigation system for GameSpot readers, based on what we see readers most interested in during big sales like this one.
We’ve also included a short list of our favorite gaming, tech, and toy deals. We’ll add to this list throughout the week as deals sell out, so check back for new recommendations in the coming days.
