Have you ever done a double-take at a gaming update before? Maybe today’s the first time.
PGA Tour 2K25 has published the trailer for its Season 4 update, and it’s unexpectedly Borderlands 4 coded.
The crossover makes sense to some degree: Take-Two publishes both the golf sim and the looter shooter, but they couldn’t be more different in terms of tone.
The publisher’s decided to merge them all the same, and the results are… Well, interesting to say the least.
Clubhouse Pass owners can unlock Bandit outfit items for their avatar, as well as a Borderlands-themed ball and a new shot type.
There’s also a new, apocalyptic course named Barren Gorge, as well as skins based on the Dark Siren and Timekeeper.
And if you’re not into the Borderlands stuff, the title’s in-game store is getting some more general cosmetics inspired by real-world brands as well, so there’s something for everyone here.
It’s mostly nuts, but we kinda like it – especially this late in the lifecycle of PGA Tour 2K25, it makes sense to throw caution to the wind and go a little crazy.
