Version 2.2 of Persona5: The Phantom X Now Available

SEGA and Atlus have launched Version 2.2 of Persona 5: The Phantom X, introducing new content and updates while fixing some issues.

Version 2.2 is the second major update for Persona 5: The Phantom X since it launched back in July. It introduces new story elements and additional content while also bringing back some familiar favorites.

Those Who Carry Out Justice

Here is a breakdown of all the new content introduced in Version 2.2:

  • New Event: Summer! Swimsuits! Sea Time! Pt.2 is a new story event set against the backdrop of a seaside school trip. Progress through the event story and take on limited time events to earn rewards.
  • Strange Changes on the Beach: Complete event missions to unlock this limited-time stage. Players can enjoy battles alongside the new 5★ character, while the battle lineup will increase the amount of rewards earned upon completion.
  • Summer Memories: These are special stories featuring Tomoko Noge, Merope, and Shun Kano. When players finish a friend’s story, you can invite that friend to the Fireworks Festival.
  • 5★ Seaside Tomoko (Code Name: Moko): Tomoko will be featured in a summer outfit in the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contracts. Seaside Tomooko can attack, heal, strengthen allies, and weaken enemies, which makes her able to fill a variety of roles in a party. Players can use her Skill 2 to restore an ally’s HP and grant them several buffs.
  • Login Bonus: Players who log in for seven days during the event period will get 7 Platinum Milicoins.
  • Beachwear Outfit for the Protagonist: The Special Outfits lineup now includes Wonder’s Beachwear, available for purchase at the in-game shop. A limited-time sale runs until 5:59 PM (PT) on November 5, 2025, during which the Meta Jewel cost will be reduced from 2,000 to 1,800.
  • Turnaround Ticket: A new item is now available in the shop for use on the Synergy screen, where you deepen your bonds with characters. Turnaround Ticket can change the choice made during the pivotal moment when the relationship changes to become either soulmates or close friends.

Give Me Your Power

Persona 5: The Phantom X launched on June 26 for the PC and mobile devices. A spin-off of the acclaimed JRPG, players assume the role of a student living a double life as a Phantom Thief. By day, they attend school and enjoy various activities around the city. By night, they infiltrate cognitive dungeons to steal Treasures and reform the twisted desires of corrupt adults.
