inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories revealed a new trailer, alongside a release window, at today’s Japan-focused State of Play.
The upcoming indie title sees you running a small-town convenience store in the early 1990s. It is described as a slice-of-life game where you manage goods, engage in conversations with customers, and explore how your decisions can impact their lives.
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is a meditative, third-person single-player experience that puts you in the shoes of Makoto Hayakawa, a college student taking a break from her studies to help her aunt at a small, cozy convenience store.
You’ll learn their habits and develop an approach for each customer to make their experience at the store smooth.
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories launches on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Switch and PC in April 2026.
