Now that the Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy closed beta ended, Square Enix shared some stats like revealing the most used character in this trial was Lightning from FFXIII. It turns out more people used Lightning than anyone else. The data drop also shared other insights about the beta and highlighted a boss that closed it out.
Only the top five most used characters in the Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy closed beta were revealed, and Lightning took first place by almost 5%. 21.22% of people used her. Cloud came in second at 16.35%, followed by Terra in third at 13.53%. Warrior of Light ended up in fourth place (10.33%), and Gaia in fifth (8.47%).
Square Enix offered insight into what types of Set Abilities people playing Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy during that period used most too. There were no exact percentages for that breakdown. Rather, the company just shared the top 10 most popular skills. All of the top three were SR ones, but the rest involved a mix that included N, R, and even one UR-ranked one. Here’s the list:
- SR Firaga
- SR Heal
- SR Thundaga
- R Cura
- SR Earth Breaker
- N Cure
- SR Surge
- UR Ace/Fire RF
- R Blizzara
- N Blizzard
The last “report” involved a bar graph breakdown of the Season Rank of players by the end of it. Since there are few notations, we don’t know exact percentages. However, over 50% of folks ended up in Bronze. A few people did make it into the Diamond and Gold Ranks, however.
Here are the infographics for the Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy closed beta going over the most used characters, Season Rank, and most used Set Abilities.
Finally, Square Enix ended the beta with a King Behemoth fight. While there’s no full footage showing the bout, a brief teaser introduced how it looked in-game. Only people who hit Silver, Gold, and Diamond ranks were able to fight it.
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is in development for Android and iOS mobile devices, and the closed beta ended on November 13, 2025. Participants can fill out a survey tied to that experience until November 16, 2025.
