The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake might actually finally get released. In fact, it’s going to be within the next 6 months.
The news comes from Ubisoft’s latest financial report, which was delayed due to an accounting mess-up. In the report, Ubisoft’s discusses its plans for Q4 of this financial year, and mentions that, “Prince of Persia™: The Sands of Time remake, Rainbow Six® Mobile, The Division® Resurgence and an unannounced title are planned for Q4.”
Ubisoft’s Q4 ends on March 31, thus we know the company intends on launching the remake before then, giving us a wait of just over 4 months.
In fairness, we kind of new things. Back in 2024, the company released a short teaser trailer which ended in confirmation that the game would come out in 2026.
Also, take notice of the unannounced game that was mentioned. The current belief is that Assassins Creed: Black Flag remake is that game, and that it’s currently sailing toward a March 2026 release.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake has had a rather tought time of it. The last time we heard anything about it was back in June where we got a single tweet confirming that yes, it’s still being worked on. Since the game as first revealed back in 2020, we’ve had not one but two other Prince of Persia games announced and released.
All I’m saying is that you’d think a prince with the ability to control time would be better at time management.
