The Japanese giant has registered two big trademarks in recent days. Nintendo of America has secured the rights to two games released several years ago.

These are The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, which was originally released on 3DS in October 2015, and Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, which arrived on Wii U in November 2015.

It is important to note that this does not necessarily mean that these titles will be remastered or ported. It is quite common for a company to renew its rights ten years after a product’s launch.
