Revealed during today’s Ina-Dai broadcast, Level-5’s president and CEO, Akihiro Hino, is returning to pen the script for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.
While it’ll be some time before a sequel is out, Level-5 intends to have your player data carry over from Victory Road.
“As for the sequel to Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, I have already started writing the scenario. As a ‘new Inazuma Eleven‘ that begins in the Reiwa era, I will do my best to deliver surprise and excitement to everyone once again. Please look forward to future announcements,” per Gematsu‘s translation of the event.
Just this week, Level-5 also announced that Victory Road has sold 800,000 copies across all platforms since launch. Fans can expect their free Ares & Fabled Seed expansion for Inazuma Eleven on January 16, 2026. The DLC adds the Ares Route in Chronicle Mode and the Fabled Seed item to provide every player with one character to upgrade to Fabled, a rarity introduced as part of the first free major update.
