2026 comes with a number of anniversaries. SEGA has kicked off the celebrations for Sonic’s 35th anniversary with a video. A logo has also been revealed.
The Japanese publisher has stated its intention to “create excitement and look back on Sonic’s greatest moments.” . As part of the festivities, SEGA is planning various partnerships with other brands, fan meetings, pop-up exhibitions, concerts, and merchandise.
Although no new Sonic games have been teased yet, it would be surprising to see the franchise remain silent in this area. After all, the franchise gets new titles at an almost annual pace.
