In a message posted on X, Hardware Unboxed shared an official statement from ASUS. The brand has denied that production of the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB and RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB has been discontinued. However, there are still supply fluctuations due to memory shortages affecting production. Thus, availability in several markets may be limited.

Despite this, ASUS will continue to support these models. A representative from NVIDIA has also confirmed that the RTX 5070 Ti is not at the end of its life cycle.

After delaying the RTX 50 SUPER cards and paving the way for the return of the RTX 3060, NVIDIA may have stopped manufacturing two other models.

According to the highly reputable YouTube channel Hardware Unboxed, the American firm has decided to discontinue the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5070 Ti with 16 GB of VRAM. The 8 GB versions will remain available.

Distribution is expected to be halted due to a chip shortage. These GPUs could therefore be considered obsolete. The information comes from manufacturers and retailers in contact with NVIDIA.
