Inazuma Eleven Victory Road How to Unlock Ares Route
A number of players have run into the issue with the Chronicle Mode since the Ares DLC dropped where they have likely completed the normal inazuma routes and expect the Ares one to open. This doesn’t work however, and you’ll have to make an extra step to play the Ares series.
The Chronicle Mode has a storyline of its own that plays out largely over the later games. Inazuma GO Galaxy contains multiple cutscenes and advancement in this game mode-specific story. Thus, you have to play through the Galaxy route until you reach the Gate Unlock battle towards the end which you have to beat.
By completing this route and advancing the story, you’ll be allowed to access the Ares route finally.
