For the most part, the ominous adventure of our sibling duo in REANIMAL is pretty straightforward. That is, until there comes a time when they and their friends come across a secluded bunker with no indication of where to go next from there.
This is during Chapter 6: Nobody Left Behind, where, after leaving the crashed military convoy, you’ll happen to arrive back at the beach where your boat was, only to have to solve a quick puzzle correlating to the large cannon in the middle of the island.

So, in this guide, I’ll not only guide you to the solution of the secret bunker but also briefly mention a hidden collectible that you can acquire from this same puzzle by inputting a different combination.
How to Get the Secret Bunker Trophy
Once you enter the bunker, you’ll first need to restore power to the room and access the terminal with the nodes. Go outside through the right door in the room and activate the generator with your partner.
Head back inside, and you should now be able to access the machine with the four different nodes. Before solving the puzzle to continue the game, we’ll enter a different code. This will unlock a hidden poster collectible required for the Platinum Trophy/100% completion.
- From left to right, the lit-up nodes need to correspond to the following combination:
- Middle > Bottom > Bottom > Middle
- Fun fact: You can discover this combination very early on in the game via Chapter 1: Dead in the Water. The code is inscribed on a crate in the room where you find the Clam Head mask, as shown in the image above.
Once you’ve punched in this code, go ahead and pull the lever on the right to activate the machine. If done correctly, you’ll immediately be awarded the Secret Bunker Trophy/Achievement. Furthermore, make sure to grab the poster from the left terminal here to add it to your collectible pile.
How to Solve the Secret Bunker Puzzle
Now, to actually solve the puzzle itself and continue on with the rest of the game, it’s a pretty simple solution. You’ll still need another code to input the machine, and it is pretty obvious where to find it.
Grab the binoculars by the window panel, and once you’re able to see through them, focus on the cannon island’s edges to spot a crate with the node combination written on it. Keep in mind, I’ve seen a couple of different codes for other players and my friends in their respective playthroughs, so you may not see the same one I had in my game’s instance.
Once you’ve successfully input the combination once again, check the binoculars once again to spot an ammo cache being airdropped on the cannon island. Your next objective will be to head to the island and use it to take down the sea monster nearby. Regardless, this will complete the Secret Bunker section of REANIMAL.
