The Marathon Server Slam release time is right around the corner, offering the first taste of Bungie’s upcoming extraction shooter. We have a full guide to the Server Slam detailing exactly what to expect from the short playtest, which is, for all intents and purposes, a pre-launch open beta.
But what about when the Marathon Server Slam starts? Here are the details about when the Marathon Server Slam releases in your time zone.
Marathon Server Slam release time in your time zone
The Marathon Server Slam starts on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. EST. Here’s how that looks in your time zone:
- 10 a.m. PST for the west coast of North America
- 1 p.m. EST for the east coast of North America
- 3 p.m. BRT for Brazil
- 6 p.m. GMT for the United Kingdom
- 7 p.m. CET for western Europe
- 3 a.m. JST on Friday, Feb 27 for Japan
- 5 a.m. AEDT on Friday, Feb 27 for the east coast of Australia
As the Server Slam is free for everyone, you don’t need to purchase the game to play. There hasn’t been an official confirmation, but it’s expected that you’ll just need to download it from your respective storefront on PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X to play. It’s running for exactly four days, so it will end at the same time on Monday, March 2 (or the early hours of March 3 if you’re in a relevant time zone).
What to expect from the Marathon Server Slam
The gist of the Marathon Server Slam is simple: most of the game will be available, which in Bungie’s words, means it’s “enough to get comfortable, not enough to see everything.” This means two zones, five factions, and five Runner shells. Progress does not carry over to the full game, but you can earn rewards for playing, including some “deluxe” weapons if you reach level 30 during the four-day window.
