Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for the week of February 23, 2026 to March 1, 2026.
Resident Evil Requiem was the highest selling new game release last week, debuting at 155,373 sales on PlayStation 5 and 38,793 sales on Switch 2 for an opening week total of 194,166 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 85,830 units, the Switch family sold 22,260 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 15,048 units, the Xbox Series family sold 648 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 35 units.
