
Kadokawa, Crunchyroll, Qzil.la, and ARCH have announced their Sekiro: No Defeat anime adapation is set to premiere sometime this year.
The previously announced anime adaptation is based on the FromSoftware game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide sometime later in 2026 except for Japan, where it will also get a theatrical release nationwide.
Furthermore, the anime has confirmed the rest of the original voice cast from the game are all reprising their roles for the new anime adaptation.
The anime adaptation will also use the late Ryuichi Sakamoto’s song “Blu” from his The Best of ‘Playing the Orchestra 2014 album as its theme song.
