It has returned to the platform under its codename, Fremont. SteamOS is now listed as the operating system. Geekbench also mentions a processor with 6 cores and 12 threads, 16 MB of L3 cache, and a clock speed of 4.86 GHz.
This timing aligns with rumors that the Steam Machine has reached testers.
