Microsoft is going all out to promote its future exclusives. During the latest XBOX Games Showcase, the American company confirmed that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution would not be released on other consoles. They will, however, be available on PC.
To reinforce this sense of exclusivity, there’s now an icon on the XBOX Series home screen for some users. The Coalition’s shooter now proudly displays an “exclusive” label. The icon hasn’t appeared for everyone yet.
In this way, the manufacturer aims to emphasize the exclusive nature of its games. It remains to be seen whether this will be effective in boosting sales.
