Microsoft is laying the groundwork for what some insiders and journalists are calling an impending “bloodbath.” It seems XBOX is preparing to carry out numerous layoffs as part of its major reset announced by CEO Asha Sharma.
According to recent reports by Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, the American company will carry out this extensive restructuring after the end of its fiscal quarter, which concludes on June 30, 2026.
However, Schreier notes that Xbox has already terminated contracts with some of its partners. For example, Assembly, the company’s primary public relations agency, has already laid off some of its staff.
