An updated version of Shenmue III has been announced today.
Shenmue III Enhanced will bring a slew of enhancements to Shenmue III, including a new camera mode, updated graphics, and menu enhancements. A full list of enhancements can be seen below. A full unveiling will go down at Gamescom this week.
Shenmue III Enhanced will be released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam & Epic Games Store). Owners of Shenmue III on PS4 and PC will be able to get an upgrade to the Enhanced version. More information will be revealed soon.

4K Texture Uplift – Refined, more detailed environments and characters.

Classic Camera Mode – An optional camera perspective inspired by Shenmue I & II, alongside the modern view.
Gameplay Tweaks – Optional stamina system adjustments, health restoration before fights, and reduced money barriers for smoother progression.
Improved Interactions – Cutscene and conversation skip options, expanded QTE timing window for more accessible gameplay.
