Dokapon Kingdom Connect 2 Announced for Switch Platforms

Dokapon Kingdom Connect 2 is unveiled for both Switch and Switch 2, debuting in Summer 2027.

In a noteworthy development for fans of RPG-style board games, “Dokapon Kingdom Connect 2” has been officially revealed and is slated for a release on both the Nintendo Switch and the Switch 2. This sequel, being developed by Idea Factory and Compile Heart, promises enhanced character customization and cooperative battles, set to launch in Summer 2027.

Expansions and Updates on Other Titles

There’s plenty of movement in the DLC and update space as well. Notably, “Cronos: The New Dawn” is gearing up for its ‘Lazarus’ DLC release for the Switch 2 in Q1 2027, accompanied by a recently released spooky story trailer. This expansion will follow slightly after its debut on other platforms.

Meanwhile, “No Man’s Sky” has rolled out its Forsaken update (7.10), which continues to evolve the game ten years post-launch. The update, themed for Halloween, brings in spooky new gameplay elements, although the report doesn’t specify any unique Nintendo features.

New Game Releases and Announcements

The Nintendo Switch 2 continues to fill its upcoming schedule with eclectic titles. “Cupiclaw”, an innovative claw machine roguelike deckbuilder, is set to arrive on November 12, 2026. This game offers a whimsical twist with its arcade-style gameplay intertwined with an eccentric love story.

Additionally, the recently released “Pokémon Legends: Z-A” has kicked off a new Mystery Gift distribution, giving players the chance to access a special Spewpa that can evolve into one of 16 unique Vivillon patterns, unavailable in the game until now.

Other Notable Mentions

Rounding out the day’s updates, experimental efforts like “Wild Blue Skies“, a Star Fox-inspired title, has been confirmed to be out now on the Switch. This project by Chuhai Labs promises a familiar yet invigorating on-rails action game experience.

Additionally, Nintendo’s commitment to broadening its music library continues as more songs are promised for “Nintendo Music”, easing the initial criticism from users about its limited track availability at launch.
