While we already know Team Jade is cooking up a crossover for Delta Force with Konami’s Metal Gear franchise, the developers have now given a date on when we can expect Naked Snake to make an appearance in the free-to-play shooter.
The collab officially kicks off this month with the new season called Ahsarah, but Naked Snake’s appearance will be much later.
Snake’s appearance ties in with an operator, and it’s one that shouldn’t surprise Delta Force players, given Snake’s stealth-based approach to confrontations.
Naked Snake’s Delta Force Debut Rings In The New Year With Style
In a new announcement by Team Jade, it has been confirmed that Naked Snake will appear in Delta Force on January 1, 2026! Yes, you read that right, in the first day of the year, Snake will be infiltrating the first-person shooter.
Voiced once again by David Hayter, Naked Snake will be a new appearance option for the game’s stealth-focused character, Nox.
Nox, who was introduced in Delta Force’s Season 4, wears night-vision goggles (NVG), and his gear and gadgets are designed around stealth, which fits perfectly with Snake. Players can expect Naked Snake to appear in both Operations and in Warfare multiplayer modes.
For now, Team Jade doesn’t want to get into the nitty-gritty on how Naked Snake is being incorporated into the game. Game Director Shadow Guo said he’d rather that players find it out for themselves, though he did confirm that the collab will also include themed Fireteam Appearances, collectible items, and more.
While January 1 seems far away, Delta Force players will soon get a deluge of new content with the start of the new season on November 18. This will feature new maps, weapons, and a lot more. For console gamers, this new season will see the introduction of native keyboard and mouse support, as well as an option for console-only crossplay.
Looking ahead, Guo confirmed they are already looking into future collaborations. Understandably, no other franchises were mentioned or hinted at, but the developer did say that partnering with other games is a great way to bridge different communities, while at the same time, introducing meaningful new content to Delta Force.
