ARC Raiders has an awful lot of locations for you to loot, and some of them have places that can be hard to get into. These locked doors are opened by various keys you can find randomly around the maps.
Each key is specific to each locked room, and while you might want a specific one, unfortunately, you’ll be at the mercy of the RNG gods.
I’ll cover where I happened to find the Spaceport Trench Tower Key, along with where to use it and what you’ll be getting for it as a reward. If you’re planning to hit a locked door, you’d better come prepared, just in case others want that loot too.
How to Get the Spaceport Trench Tower Key
Since keys will spawn in random containers and don’t have to spawn on the map they’re used for, you’re really playing a big game of chance. I happened to get my key from a random apartment room in the Buried City.
For most keys, you’ll find them in residential areas most often. Checking these areas in one run can be a big help in case you find a key for your next run.
How to Use the Spaceport Trench Tower Key
To use this key, you’ll need to head to Spaceport and make your way to the northern part of the map. Specifically, you’ll be making your way to the North Trench Tower, which is right across a nice, wide open area.
Even if you go a different way from the provided instructions, they should still help you figure out the general idea. Below are the directions to reach the North Trench Tower:
- Head to the northern part of the map
- Across a large gap, you should see the two towers and a metal staircase
- Take the staircase up
- Go into the corridor and take the first set of stairs on your left
- Turn right, and you should see the locked door
- Open the door and head up the stairs on your right
There are plenty of things to loot up here, and it’s a pretty easily defendable position with only two entrances, both of which are downstairs. If you feel like you can handle higher stakes, try hitting one of these places during a Night Raid.
Spaceport Trench Tower Key Loot
I walked away from my little run with over 50k in loot, which isn’t necessarily a huge haul. I did, however, walk away with a couple of new guns and some items I very much needed, so that was a very welcome surprise.

For some people, this may not seem like a lot, but for me, it really helped me prep for some of the more difficult things I wanted to do. Whether you’re doing things solo or with a team, any loot you find topside will help in the future, one way or another.
