There is some irony in this statement as Yakuza Kiwami 3 is, of course, a remake of 2010’s Yakuza 3. In this series, favourite Kazuma Kiryu attempts to escape the dark and gritty life of a gangster and winds up in a fight to protect those he loves — the residents of Morning Glory Orphanage. Dark Ties is a new experience that follows Yakuza 3, adding Yoshitaka Mine in his ambitious mission to climb the ranks and fill a void in villain Kanda’s organization.
