Mojang has officially announced the existence of Minecraft Dungeons 2, the sequel to the 2020 game that likes to boast about 25+ million total players over its lifetime.
The reveal was made at todays Minecraft Live on March 21, 2026, complete with a shiny trailer to admire and coo over.
“A hero’s work is never done! Disorder is brewing, and the world stands before a threat unlike any other,” says the official blurb o the trailer. “A new danger is growing in power, ready to descend upon the land and unleash mayhem.”
Little more is known about the game at this point, but we do know it’s going to launch this year for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass.
