Hot off the heels of yesterday’s open letter addressing the state of the brand and its future, Xbox has gone and got itself a shiny new logo! And with it, a repeat of the new slogan: We are Xbox.
There’s not a whole lot more to say really. It brings back a more classic look, ditching the white for the old-school Xbox green, and so far the social media reaction has been positive.
The post got replies from other big green brands like Razer and Mountain Dew, celebrating the return of the classic colour.
It’s just a picture, but combined with everything else over the last week, like lowering the cost of Game Pass and the open letter, Xbox’s new CEO Asha Sharma is managing to generate some buzz. Of course, it’s all just show at the moment. Can Xbox really turn it around? Even though there is talk about reevaluating exclusivity, can Xbox put the genie back in the bottle, or will it continue to be the world’s biggest 3rd party publisher?
