Near the start of the game, you’ll need to pick your 007 First Light Q-Watch. The young James Bond is brought down to Q-Lab by Moneypenny after meeting with M, and while there are plenty of scientists to talk to around the laboratory, Q is waiting. When you approach, he’ll take your existing watch and, rather theatrically, chuck it in the trash. This is because you now get to choose between one of seven new Omega watches.
Which watch should you choose in 007 First Light? Here’s what you need to know.
007 First Light Q-Watch choice explained
It does not matter which Q-Watch you choose in 007 First Light. Each of them is functionally identical, so it’s solely down to personal preference. Each one is a different color, though, so here are your options:
- Midnight Maroon
- Ember Grey
- Emerald Green
- Burgundy Vale
- Navy Blue
- Dawn Grey
- Winter Grey
The differences in color are subtle, and if we’re being honest, you don’t even really get to see the watch much in-game anyway. There isn’t a photo mode, and since the game is third-person, the camera is never close enough to see the watch properly. It’s one of those decisions that is implied to matter, but actually doesn’t. But hey, the watches are nice, so Omega has got some terrific advertising from this product placement.
