Something appears to be happening with Rainbow Six Siege. The tactical team-based shooter, which recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, has seen its team size shrink significantly in recent weeks.
The website Insider Gaming claims that at least 120 developers (about 12% of the total team) have been removed from Rainbow Six Siege at Ubisoft Montreal. Additionally, around 50 employees working on Rainbow Six Siege Mobile have been transferred to an unannounced project.
Furthermore, Ubisoft Barcelona has been affected by layoffs. A total of 51 people are affected. The Spanish studio will now focus exclusively on projects related to Rainbow Six.
