SanDisk has unveiled a new range of PS5-compatible SSDs, and the prices are eye-opening to say the least. If you want to go all the way and store more than just a Call of Duty title or two on your console, then the 8TB version will cost you a whopping $2,960.
This is the new Optimus GX Pro range of solid-state drives, of which the 850p model is compatible with base PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles. It promises “worry-free installation” following official testing and licensing, but the prices are tough to stomach.
