At the start of Tormented Souls 2, you will come in contact with a mysterious, cursed door. This cursed door is blocked by demon arms and surrounded by red mist, making it impossible for you to enter.
However, it’s clear that the player needs to enter the door, as that is where Anna has been taken. Besides saving Anna, the cursed door is also the only way out of the Convent and getting through it is mandatory to progress.
If you’re stuck at the cursed door and have no clue how to open it, this guide is for you. Here’s how to open the cursed door in Tormented Souls 2.
How to Open the Cursed Door in Tormented Souls 2
Before you can open the cursed door in Tormented Souls 2, you must first solve the Angel Statue puzzle in the Museum. In addition to solving this statue, you also need to acquire the Plant Sprayer from the Chapter House.
How to Get the Plant Sprayer
The Plant Sprayer is obtained from the Chapter House, a very small area of the Convent. To enter the Chapter House, you must first solve the Rotary Phone puzzle to earn the Jade Disc for the Jade Cross.
After inserting the Jade Disc into the Jade Cross and turning the discs so they align correctly, you can insert the cross into the Chapter House door and enter. The exact location of the Chapter House is shown in the image below.
Once you enter the Chapter House, make your way to the back of the room, where all the dead bodies are sitting on a group of chairs. In the northernmost chair, you will find the Plant Sprayer.
How to Solve the Angel Statue
Now that you have the Plant Sprayer, we are one step closer to opening the cursed door in Tormented Souls 2. Next, you must solve the Angel Statue in the Museum.
To solve the Angel Statue, you must enter the mirror in the Torture Museum, on the lower level of the Museum. Check out our guide on how to solve the mirror puzzle if you’re unsure how to complete it.
Entering the mirror will lead you to an alternate version of the Torture Museum, where you will find a different version of the Angel Statue.
Approach this version and use your lighter to burn the scroll in its hands, which will then destroy the scroll in the real world.
Before you leave this alternate dimension, you also need to get the Angel Heart. The Angel Heart can be found by going through the second mirror in the back of the alternate dimension, which leads you to a secret area of the normal dimension.
It’s here where you will find an iron bull that you can open. Inside the bull is the Angel Heart, so go ahead and grab it.
With the Angel Heart in hand and the scroll burned, return to the Angel Statue in the Museum and insert the heart into its chest, which is now revealed due to the scroll being gone. After inserting the heart, blood will pour into the bowl below.
Next, take the Plant Sprayer and use it to interact with the bowl, filling it with blood. Now it’s time to head to the cursed door in the Convent.
Cursed Door Solution
To open the cursed door in Tormented Souls 2, select the option to interact with it and navigate over to the Plant Sprayer filled with blood.
Use the Plant Sprayer to spray blood on each of the arms securing the door, which will make them vanish and allow you to enter the room. Nice job, the cursed door is officially not cursed anymore.
Be prepared for a boss fight on the other side of the door, which can be pretty challenging if you enter it unprepared. Make sure you have found the shotgun and have a ton of ammo and healing supplies to increase your chances of survival.
