Finished with Atomfall and its Wicked Isle expansion? If you’re looking forward to whacking more robots and doing something new, Rebellion Developments has just the thing, as the game’s second expansion now has a release date.
Called the “Red Strain,” a new trailer is out today, along with our first official details about it.
This is a new expansion, which means it will cost you to play it. That said, expect a title update to be released alongside the DLC release, which should apply gameplay adjustments and bug fixes.
Atomfall DLC 2 Releases Next Month
Details about the DLC are scarce, though we do know the Red Strain will be released on September 16 on all platforms and will feature a new location.
Rebellion has stated that more information about the expansion will be revealed in the lead-up to its release, so expect a deeper dive into it in the next few weeks, as Sept. 16 is just about three weeks away.
While no price was mentioned, we wouldn’t be surprised if it was sold at the same price as the Wicked Isle, which was $19.99. If you own Atomfall’s Deluxe Edition, then this DLC should be free for you.
