Logitech Unveils McLaren Racing Products During G Play 2025

The Formula 1 Baku Grand Prix is this Sunday, but racing fans won’t have to wait that long for excitement. Logitech is done presenting this year’s Logitech G Play, and it comes with some big hardware reviews, plus some nice touches on the software side.

The hardware giant labelled today’s drop as ‘its most advanced lineup yet’, and though that sounds like generic marketing speak at first, Logitech did put in the work to back that up.

All products described here are already available for preorder at the Logitech G website.

All Announcements At Logitech G Play 2025

The Racing Line

Easily the biggest name in today’s drop is the collaboration between Logitech and the McLaren Formula 1 team, paired with a new set of racing peripherals. You can build a whole McLaren-themed cockpit just with today’s announcements.

The Logitech G RS50 wheel base has 8N.m peak torque, in line with the best sim-grade bases. It is compatible with the RS Formula Wheel: McLaren Racing Edition for a more authentic look and feel. Down under, Logitech is also introducing the RS Pedals with adjustable positioning and a 75kg load cell brake.

All of this can be mounted on the McLaren edition of the Playseat Formula Instinct, paired with the racing team’s version of Logitech’s premium A50 wireless headset. The audio output and input quality on these are pretty nice, so you can argue with the pit wall without missing a beat.

This stuff is great to see as a racing fan, though a part of me wishes flight simulators had gotten some love too.

eSports Mice

Keeping up the trend of working with elite athletes to make gear accessible for no-skill people like myself is the new PRO Series of mice.

The flagship item in this line is the Logitech G PRO X2 Superstrike, with a haptic inductive trigger system hooked to an analog sensor over traditional switches. This allows you to customize the clicking to your taste, depending on how sweaty you want to get.

For those chasing a smaller form factor, Logitech is also introducing the PRO X Superlight 2c, based on the popular Superlight 2 design. The latest edition is smaller, lighter, and has redesigned thumb buttons for better ergonomics.

New G3, G5 & Console Items

The new G321 Lightspeed wireless headset draws inspiration from the G435, which is both light and comfortable for long sessions. The most glaring difference externally is that the G321 has a small boom microphone instead of the recessed one.

The G5 line is being reinforced with the G515 Rapid TKL keyboard, which is to gaming keyboards what ever-thinning models are to smartphones. The brand says it clocks in at 22mm of thickness, with a stainless teel top plate, PBT keycaps, and adjustable key actuation down to 0.1mm.

Last but certainly not least in the hardware line is the Logitech G A20 X wireless headset. The new entry has a 48 kHz microphone and an onboard DSP, allowing for custom audio profiles.

Software Improvements

On the software side of things, Streamlabs released a new AI Streaming Agent, using Nvidia ACE and Audio2Face technology. The company showcased a virtual avatar that acts like a producer/co-host during streams, but the real kicker is live scene-switching, automated highlights, and commentary.

Meanwhile, the latest Logitech G HUB added a much-wanted feature in the era of one million storefronts: being able to launch all your games in one place regardless of where you bought them. The system integrates with major services like Steam, Xbox, the Epic Game Store, and GOG, but you can also add manually-installed games there.
