One of the main things that makes game shows fun to watch with your family and friends is guessing the answers to every question. Yeah, you’re not winning any cash or prizes, but it’s nice to be right when everyone else gets a trivia question wrong and feel as though you could actually win the game yourself someday.
As family TV time personified, Mr. Tenna of Deltarune Chapter 3 naturally has an affinity for game shows and quiz questions, and he’s not going to be shy about asking you them while you’re under his spotlight.
Throughout Chapter 3, you’ll have to answer various quiz questions, either during Tenna’s game rounds or while exploring the Dark World. In the former case in particular, answering questions correctly and racking up points will go a long way toward getting you those S ranks and paving the way to the chapter’s secret boss.
Maybe knowing all the answers ahead of time is technically cheating, but hey, what Tenna doesn’t know won’t kill him.
Round 1 Questions And Answers
The lion’s share of Chapter 3’s quiz questions are presented to you throughout Round 1 of Tenna’s game, where you’re bumbling around the desert.
You’ll be presented with a total of nine different questions, most of which are encountered by running into a Quiz Vortex, while one is presented to you when you return the Qs to the sphinx.
You’ve only got a few seconds to answer each question, and if you wait too long, Susie and Ralsei will make random guesses, which will hurt your overall score, so pick the correct answer quickly.
The questions you can encounter, and their answers, are as follows:
|
What time is it right now? |
TV Time!!! |
|---|---|
|
Brand A values this Ralsei at $8! What’s the true value? |
$32.00 MSRP |
|
What’s Kris’s favorite food? |
Pie |
|
What is the name of this show’s host? |
Mr. Tenna |
|
What is the highly memorable heading of “TV Time?” |
Marvelous Mystery Board |
|
What’s the name of this kid? Seriously I don’t remember. |
Lancer |
|
Apparently you made this awful thing. Except for… what? |
It’s the thrashing machine you made in chapter 1. The answer will depend on what you picked. |
|
What’s the name of this awful guy? |
Pippins |
|
What was Asriel’s favorite character in Smashing Fighters? |
Sword Magician |
If you, Susie, and Ralsei all pick the correct answer, you’ll score 300 points for your troubles. Remember, the more points you have at the end of the board, the more likely you are to get that coveted S rank!
Bonus Round And Exploration Questions And Answers
The second round of Tenna’s game on the island doesn’t have any quiz questions, so no need to worry about that. As for the Bonus Round, everyone’s already gotten tired of Tenna’s games at this point and is refusing to participate, while Tenna tries to make the game as stupid-simple as possible to force everyone to play.
There are several quiz questions in the Bonus Round, but all the answers in each one are correct. You can also just opt to not pick any answer if you’re feeling saucy. Tenna will shock you, and you’ll lose health, but he won’t let you actually die during this segment, so it doesn’t matter.
After you escape the game and make your way into the wider Dark World, you’ll periodically encounter a handful of other quick questions in the TV labyrinth areas.
These questions have only two options, selected via the A and B switches on the left and right sides of your enclosed area. Whichever answer you pick, Susie and Ralsei will follow your lead, though if you’re wrong, bullets will fly at you that you’ll have to dodge.
Here are the potential questions you can encounter:
|
What’s the reward for C-Rank? |
Cooler |
|---|---|
|
Who runs the green room concessions? |
Ramb |
|
Kris’s last name?! |
Dreemurr |
|
What was your rank on board 1?! |
Whatever rank you got |
|
Pick (letter)! |
A or B |
|
What letter does (word) start/end with? |
A or B |
Getting these questions right won’t affect your score, and at this point, your score won’t affect whether you can get the vital item for the secret boss, so this is just for the sake of not having to dodge any bullets.
Trust me, if you’re going for that secret boss, you’ll be glad you saved some healing items, even if it’s been nerfed.
