Dominion City is calling your name in Borderlands 4, and when you finally reach it, you realize that it is just as chaotic as the rest of the game’s regions. You need somewhere to go where you can remain safe and work on your character’s build.
Luckily, like the other regions in the game, Dominion City has multiple Safehouses for you to track down. This will give you a foothold in the city, a place to get away from the chaos of the Rippers and The Order, and somewhere you can collect your lost loot.
Here is where you can find each of the Safehouses in Dominion City in Borderlands 4.
The Lockaway
Carcadia District
The Lockaway is the first of the Safehouses in Dominion City, and it is the only one that is unlocked by progressing the Borderlands 4 campaign. When you first enter the city via the large hole created in the Carcadia District, you will be directed to the Safehouse by Zadra and Lovaine.
Once you reach the area, you will need to use your grappling hook to reach the upper floors. Here, you will find the console needed to unlock the Safehouse and gain access to the various utilities it offers.
It is important to note that this is the only non-faction town location with a Golden Chest. However, it does not give you access to all the amenities of the faction towns in Terminus Range, Carcadia Burn, or The Fadefields.
Another nice thing about this Safehouse is that it is near the only Abandoned Augur Mine in Dominion, making it a convenient fast travel point for when you want to farm the boss of the mine.
Sumpview Falls
Fades District
The second Safehouse in Dominion in Borderlands 4 is Sumpview Falls, and it is located in the Fades District of the city. This is the district attached to The Fadefields region of Kairos, and it is also located to the west of the only Order Bunker in the city.
When you reach this Safehouse, you will first need to clear it of all enemies, as there will be a lot of Rippers inside. Once this is done, locate the balcony overlooking the main floor of the Safehouse.
Climb up to the balcony to find the datapad for the Safehouse. From here, you can use the datapad to activate the Safehouse and make it a permanent fast-travel point.
Food Court
Terminus District
The final Safehouse in Dominion City is called The Food Court, and it is located on the western edge of the Terminus District. You can easily reach this Safehouse by traveling to the Terminus District from The Lockaway Safehouse.
Once you go through the doors that lead to the Terminus District, turn to the left, and you will see the entrance to The Food Court Safehouse. Inside, you will need to take out numerous Rippers before the area is safe to explore.
After doing this, you will find the datapad for the Safehouse on top of a pile of rubble in the back of the area. The Safehouse’s console blends into the area here, but can be found in front of the all-you-can-eat buffet sign.
A nice benefit of this Safehouse is that it is very close to the Timekeeper’s tower, allowing you to quickly access the area during the campaign when the need arises. This is helpful if you have the glitch that prevents you from opening the door between the Fades and Terminus Districts.
