1000xResist, the 2024 sci-fi adventure game that put developer Sunset Visitor on the map, will come to both Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation 5 in November. Sunset Visitor shared the announcement alongside a new trailer for the game.

Starting Nov. 4, PS5 users will be able to purchase the Peabody Award-winning game via the PlayStation Store, while Xbox Game Pass subscribers will gain access to it as part of the Game Pass catalog. (The Xbox video marking the launch of 1000xResist simply says “Play 1000xResist Day One on Game Pass November 4th,” and does not specify if the release is specific to higher subscription tiers only. We’ve reached out to publisher Fellow Traveler to clarify.)

The game was previously available only on Nintendo Switch and PC. Alongside the console launches, 1000xResist is also getting language support for French, Korean, and (Brazilian) Portuguese.

1000xResist follows the story of Iris, a teenager who, after her society is torn apart by an alien disease, is cloned several times. The player takes on the role of one of Iris’ clones, called Watchers, and must piece together the story (which is told out of order) by time-traveling and traversing Iris’s memories to uncover the truth that tore the world apart. The game won the 2025 Peabody Award for Interactive & Immersive Work, and its Steam user review score currently sits at “overwhelmingly positive.”
