For those who rely on critics for their gaming purchases, Bloodlines 2 has gotten mixed reviews so far. On Open Critic, it has a middling score of 64 so far. Our own review wasn’t kind to it, as it said, “While it has the trappings of the World of Darkness, this game does a disservice to Vampire: The Masquerade.”
Of course, there are loads of games that got panned by critics but still sold well or managed to receive a cult following even with that hanging over its head. For some of its issues, expect The Chinese Room to release an update or two to resolve it post-release.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 releases on October 21 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
