Chinese giant NetEase is once again in the news with the closure of one of its studios. This week, it is the turn of Bad Brain Game Studios, founded in 2023.
Based in Montreal, the company will close its doors for good on November 17. Employees were working on an action-adventure game inspired by the 1980s called The Midnight Riders.
NetEase says it is open to discussion with the aim of finding a potential buyer who would be interested in acquiring the studio and its license.
