The sequel to Cooking Simulator will launch in a few months.

Revealed yesterday, Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together is slated to arrive in March 2026 on PC (via Steam). The game was originally slated for a January 20th release. In February, Big Cheese Studio will release an early glimpse into the new title with Cooking Simulator 2: Prologue. A VR version of the game is also in development. A synopsis for Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together reads:

The second installment of Cooking Simulator in numbers: over 200 ingredients, 80 recipes, 30 special skills and perks, and 11 customer groups. The sequel to the cult game will feature a co-op mode as well as additional functionalities – including Cooking Sense, which visualizes real-world senses such as smell and taste.

The release of Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together in March 2026 will allow for quality-of-life improvements and changes to the game’s blueprint system, which should significantly enhance the gameplay experience. Enhanced guest behavior scenarios will also be introduced, and the plating system will be expanded – from simple plate presentation to fine dining. Player satisfaction is a priority, and March will also provide a better release window for the full PC version of the game. At the same time, discussions are already underway regarding ports to consoles and other platforms.

Another change will be the expansion of the 30 special skills and perks system with even more engaging functionalities – designed to have a greater impact on gameplay. The expanded order system will introduce an intelligent, automated shopping list that continuously analyzes the restaurant menu and suggests current ingredient needs – helping to keep operations running smoothly and maintain full control over supplies.

The first Cooking Simulator game has sold over four million copies worldwide. The first title is currently on sale for $4.99 on Steam until January 5.
