Popular Los Angeles convention L.A Comic Con is letting fans own part of the event.
Teaming up with StartEngine, the convention has extended its fan investment campaign to February 16 at 11:59 p.m. PST. L.A. Comic Con initially started the campaign following last year’s event. Fans can learn more about the campaign here. As of this writing, the campaign has raised over $151,000. A list of owner perks for the convention can be seen below.
Chris DeMoulin, CEO/GM of Los Angeles Comic Con parent company Comikaze Entertainment Inc. said this about the current campaign:
“By welcoming our fans as new owners, we’ll use the capital raised to pursue our mission of delighting them with more of the content, talent, brands and activations they love. L.A. Comic Con’s fan-centric model has proven to be successful for over a decade, but we have reached the point where continued growth requires additional capital.”
Dates for the 2026 installment of L.A. Comic Con will be revealed soon. Our coverage of last year’s event can be found here.
