Montreal’s Sinxsoft plans to launch Cross Reverie this year.
Originally revealed as part of a cancelled Kickstarter in 2015, Cross Reverie returns this year with a newly launched Steam page and the intention to launch in 2026.
Cross Reverie iset on the island of Talesford, a home to mystical ancients and divine beings, The Dreamr. Every 100 years, a ritual called The Trial of the Ancients unfolds, during which each of Xylera’s four nations is summoned to take part in trials that test their mettle. Those who prove themselves gain the Dreamer’s favour and are granted one wish.
However, the combatants soon learn that things are not as they hoped, and the nightmare quickly becomes reality when The Shadow appears and alters how the trials are completed.
Cross Reverie features eight characters and a story with multiple replays and various endings. The combat system includes combination attacks, elemental weaknesses, finishers, and more.
