Xbox players can now try their hand at running a medieval tavern with the arrival of Tavern Manager Simulator on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The management game, which launched on Microsoft’s consoles on 13th January, challenges players to transform a rundown shack into the kingdom’s most famous drinking establishment.

Developed by Georgian independent studio One More Time, Tavern Manager Simulator has already proven popular on PC since its 2024 release. The game currently holds an impressive 91% positive rating on Steam from over 3,700 player reviews, suggesting console players are in for a treat when they pick up their virtual aprons.

The gameplay focuses on the full tavern experience, from initial rebuilding through to expansion and daily management. Players need to purchase resources, maintain furniture and decorations, serve customers, and cook meals using a variety of ingredients. The developers have added engaging mini-games to break up the management tasks, including beer pouring, cooking in cauldrons, and chopping vegetables and meat.

Additional features include a day-and-night cycle, seasonal events, and a reputation system that tracks how well players are managing their establishment. Keeping the tavern clean and making use of fairy helpers are also key elements of successful tavern management in this fantasy setting.

Ultimate Games S.A. handled the console publishing duties for the Xbox version. PlayStation 5 owners won’t have to wait much longer, with their version scheduled to arrive on 5th February 2026.
