DigixArt and THQ Nordic’s Tides of Tomorrow will no longer launch in February 2026.
“Following extensive feedback gathered from the Tides of Tomorrow playable demo and an ongoing closed beta, the development team determined that additional time is needed to respond to player input and implement improvements,” THQ Nordic revealed in a press release. “This extra development period will help ensure the best possible experience for the upcoming narrative-driven adventure.”
The studio behind Road 96 puts you on the troubled ocean planet of Elynd, a world struggling to survive in the wake of the Great Flood. As classification threatens to kill all living things, you must face the challenges Elynd brings.
As you explore the planet, you’ll meet a diverse cast of characters, each with their own moods, motivations, and perspectives about the planet. You can choose allies, and every decision matters, which can also lead to new adversaries.
Tides of Tomorrow launches on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC on April 22, 2026. A demo is available on Steam.
