A big rumor about possible projects in development at PlatinumGames surfaced on a Chinese forum this week.
The Japanese studio could be working on a remake of Bayonetta, a new installment using Unreal Engine 5, and a remake of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Of course, all this should be taken with a grain of salt, as it comes from a simple translation on the forum in question.
It should be noted that both remakes would also be created using Epic Games’ latest engine. They are expected to be announced in 2026, ahead of a possible launch in 2027.
