Publisher TYPE-MOON and developer TYPE-MOON Studio BB have announced an indefinite delay for Fate/EXTRA Record.
The long-awaited remake of the original Fate/EXTRA dungeon crawler game is forgoing its 2026 release to an unannounced date, mostly due to internal changes at the company.
The game was delayed over a revised internal structure, which led to changes in the development process. The game’s publisher was also changed, though development will continue.
When the game does launch, it’ll be on Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5. The remake was announced back in 2020.
